Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson was an American actress best recognized for her role as Buffy Summers, in the famous film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The other roles she has played are Rebecca Becky Granger from the telefilm Nightingales and the short-lived NBC show of the similar title. Erica Paget played Early Edition in CBS and Marlowe Viccellio starred in Psych. The native of California, Swinson started acting at a young age. She was a part of the industry of advertising and appeared in a variety of commercials. Her first appearance on screen in 1984 in an NBCs It's Your Move show. Her big screen debut came two years after in romance drama Pretty in Pink. Swan was known for her blonde lisp and the breathless sound of her voice. Recently, she's shifted from main roles to smaller roles. Flowers in the Attic earned her the Young Artist Award in the Horror or Mystery Motion Picture category in 1989.
