Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. Aspen returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting a black mark on Ladd's record in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill, and she managed to finish her in the third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round with a TKO. Her final fight with the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. In her next fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for her performance on the evening. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle with the fighters received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds and ended the streak of winning. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. In a recent replacement match to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision against her.
