Amy Lou Adams is the full name for Amy Lou Adams. Amy Lou Adams was born in Aviano, Italy on August 20, 1974. Amy Lou Adams is an American actor who has been praised for her performance of innocent and charming characters. Adams was was raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as one of the seven kids who was her smallest. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. Adams began performing and dancing professionally around the middle of the 1990s, with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and then at the Country Dinner Playhouse. Then in Minnesota in a small local theater, she was chosen to be a part of the mock documentary about beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous. After her screen debut that was successful with the role of an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet moved to Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. She was discovered by actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and began her film career during the latter half of 1940s. In the decade that followed her appearances in many popular films including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
