Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts belongs to four generations of the Robertses who live in the Atlanta region, beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was interested in theatre from a very young stage. When he was studying in Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. After he enlisted in the Air force and was spotted together with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. The two married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after the couple had left the US Air Force. In 1960 the family moved from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the children's local Saturday morning TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they both funded. They also established the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa, was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
