Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her leading roles in many television series but also her impressive performances in film. The actress is popular on Canadian and American television. Emily's interest in acting began at the age of 12 when, she went to visit their sister Katie who was making a film with Katie. Once she discovered her passion in the world of acting, Emily enrolled in classes for it and began auditioning. After several commercials that were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You scared of the Dark? where she was seen in just one scene without any spoken dialogue. At the age 15, she made her breakthrough when she became a regular on the WB show Glory Days. Although the show was canceled after nine episodes Emily's performance attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who enlisted her on his TV show Everwood. Emily was also a dancer and photographer. Teen once named her as one of the top actresses below the age of twenty. Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
